Diora Baird has paid her dues. After some not-so-exciting years working as a children’s party clown (seriously), Diora has snagged the ultimate cult-film coup: a prime role in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Despite the fact that she hates horror movies, Baird happily submitted herself to six months of creepiness, screaming in terror for the greater good of scary-movie fans everywhere. The gorgeous Miami native is now poised to ride the Leatherface franchise to fame—and we’re poised to watch with our jaws hanging to the floor.

STUFF: Your mom was a model—you must come from good genes.
DIORA: Yeah, my mom was a model, so I grew up in the industry. I was ridiculously shy when I was about 10 years old, and to kind of help that, my mom forced me to get into acting
